This policy explains what Pick-a-Print collects, why, and your choices. By using the app you agree to it.

Account information. When you sign in, we process your username and authentication tokens. Session tokens are stored securely on your device (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and sent to our server to authenticate your requests.
Content you save. The URLs you save, STL/3MF and other files you upload, titles, tags, notes, and each model's status. When you save a URL we fetch public metadata (title, thumbnail, description) from that page's host (e.g. Printables, MakerWorld, Thangs) to display it in your library.
Images/media you provide for features such as 3D scanning/model generation are uploaded to our backend to produce a result and associated with your account. Photos you submit to identify a filament spool are additionally kept for a limited time (see Data retention below) so we can review and improve automatic identification; they are used only for that purpose and are not shared with anyone besides the vision-model provider needed to process the photo.
Advertising & device data. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier and related device/usage information to serve and measure ads. We do not sell your personal information.
Technical data. Standard request data (IP address, app version, error diagnostics) may be processed to operate and secure the service.
To authenticate you, store and sync your library across devices, fetch model metadata, deliver features you request, keep the service secure, and display advertising through AdMob.
We share data only with service providers that make the app work: Google Play services / AdMob (advertising and app delivery) and the model-source websites you save from (to retrieve public metadata). We do not sell your personal data.
We keep your account data and library until you delete them or request deletion. You can delete individual models in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact [email protected] (or use the in-app account deletion option where available); we process requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
Filament-identification photos are kept for a limited time (currently up to 90 days) after which they're automatically deleted along with their result; deleting your account removes them immediately rather than waiting for that window.
Data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS and authentication tokens are stored in platform-provided secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Pick-a-Print is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise them.
